Amity & Cindy's Wedding | Poolside Cafe at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool | The Domain Sydney

Amity & Cindy’s Wedding was held at the Poolside Cafe at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool in The Domain Sydney. The date they choose is actually a pretty special date to me, as it is the same date that I married my Husband 5 years earlier. I also found out later that night that Amity & Cindy also had friends at the wedding who were married on the same date but the year earlier. If you are wondering they did ask for permission from their friends before they decided to get married on the same date as them.

Amity & Cindy‘s have been together for just over 5 years and as most relationships go they have had their ups and downs. So you could tell that for them to finally be able to get married that it meant a lot to them. Cindy warned me in our meeting before their wedding that it was going to be an emotional day and that she was a crier. Cindy held true to her words. There were tears as she arrived at the venue and before she walked down the aisle with her Dad. Then during their vowes to each other was when I really understood just how much this meant to them and I also started to fight back tears as well.

Amity has a strong connection with the Navy, as her father served with the Navy and he is unfortunately no longer with us. So it was really important to them that we were able to get some photos that not only captured the love between them but also included the Navy ships in the background. It was one of the reasons why they choose their venue and we couldn’t of asked for more, as there were plenty of Navy ships docked right behind them at Garden Island.

Amity & Cindy’s reception has to of been one of the most fun receptions I have been to in a long time. It was so much fun hanging out with them all and I seriously did not want to go home at the end of the night. Everyone was having so much fun, letting loose, laughing and dancing up a storm. So thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day by photographing your wedding. I wish you both the best for you future together.
