FAQ’s
Do you edit your images?
Yes I do! All of my images are taken on a DSLR in RAW format so that I can enhance the natural beauty that is in them. I spend a lot of time editing all of my clients photographs and I edit every single image to the absolute best of my ability. Check out my recent weddings to see what your wedding day could look like if you choose me to be your wedding photographer.
How many images do I receive?
For a typical wedding you can expect to receive between 50-80 photos per hour of coverage. It really does depend on the size of your wedding day. I don't cap the amount of photos you will receive, so you will receive all of the best images from the day.
Do you support same sex marriages?
Yes! I would love nothing more then to capture your wedding day for you, no matter what your orientation is. To me love really is love and it doesn't matter who that is between. So please don't be shy and shoot me a message if you love my work.
Can you help us to organise out timeline for the day?
Definitely. I can help you by advising you on timings for the day so that you allow enough time for the important parts of the day, so that your day is as stress free and as easy as possible. I will also make sure that you get to spend as much time with your family and friends as possible.
Where are you based?
I'm based in the beautiful Port Stephens (next door to The Hunter Valley). You will find me shooting weddings regularly around Nelson Bay, Newcastle and amongst the vines of The Hunter Valley. I am even down south in Sydney & Wollongong/Illawarra regions regularly as I have spent half of my life down in Sydney. I do love to travel to new and exciting places so please just ask no matter where you are planning on getting married. Generally anything over a 2 hour drive will incur a small travel fee for one nights accommodation (booked by myself).
How long does it take for us to receive our photos back after the wedding?
Your full gallery will be ready to view in your online gallery 4-6 weeks after your wedding day.
I do also included with every wedding, a sneak peek of about 20 photos done within 48 hours after your wedding day, so that you have something to show off from your wedding and to share with family and friends.
What happens if you are sick or injured on our wedding day?
So far I have never missed a wedding (touch wood), but if something did happen to go wrong and I was sick or injured I do have a great network of peers that I can call up at the last minute. This will allow me to get in a second shooter to help assist me if I just need a little bit of extra help or I can call up a lead photographer to cover me to make sure that you still have a photographer on your wedding day. I will never just leave you without anyone to photograph your wedding day.
My partner and I don’t like getting our photos taken.
I hear this a lot from my clients. Don’t let this stress you out. I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to help you to relax and enjoy getting your photos taken, so that the real you shines through. I also offer engagement sessions which can be a great way to get used to being in front of the camera and it is also a great way for us to get to know each other better.
Can you be our photographer on our wedding day?
As long as I'm not booked on your date, then I would love nothing more then to work with you. Simply fill out my contact form and I will be in touch with you within a day. This is my full time job (apart from being a mum), so I am usually pretty prompt with my replies. We can then organise a time to meet over coffee (or wine) or even the phone to discuss your wedding day.
