Tara & Steph | Dalwood Estate | Hunter Valley Wedding

What can I say about Tara & Steph’s wedding day, other then, that these two ladies made sure that their wedding day very personal and unique, which suited them perfectly.

They were married in a custom ceremony at Dalwood Estate, in the Hunter Valley, on 4th May 2023, which is Star Wars Day for those in the know. Kim from The Boho Celebrant, included some unique rituals in Tara & Steph’s ceremony which included a hand fastening and sharing a drink together to symbolise them coming together all before exchanging rings, which were custom made by Simon Curwood Jewellers.

After their ceremony we walked around the stunning grounds of Dalwood Estate for their portraits. Along the way we stopped for Tara to shave off Steph’s hair, which she had been growing since they first met, as Steph had always said she would grow her hair for their wedding day. Tara & Steph also brought along some lightsabers and Mandorlian helmets, which fitted in well with the date, the 4th May.

Then Steph & Tara walked into their reception holding the lightsabers and surprised all of their family & friends by revealing Steph’s now short hair.
