Same Sex Wedding | Otford Valley NSW
I am so excited to be able to share with you all this shoot that I created and was recently featured in the Spring Edition of the Becoming One Magazine.
This collaboration took place on the amazing property at Otford Valley Agistment Farm and involved a collection of amazing vendors from all across Sydney and the South Coast. The concept was for us to celebrate same sex marriages being legal in Australia and to show of this beautiful woodlands with a rustic/boho vibe.
We wanted to celebrate individuality with the brides but we still wanted to have 2 beautiful dresses that showcased their style and personalities. So we used 2 dresses with one being a more traditional inpsired dress and the other a non traditional dress that featured a strong colour to contrast against the other dress. Both of these dresses were supplied by Matheson + Me and feature beautiful lace and tulle.
The flowers were all supplied and created by the fabulous Nicole from The Flower Stand. She designed them to contrast against all of the greens in the forest, and for them to be rough and rustic so that they almost looked like wild flowers.
Kay from Inspire Love Wedding & Event Hire helped us to turn the beautiful forest into a romantic setting for our shoot to take place in. I think all of us that were already married were wishing that we could do it all again in this exact setting.
