Kirsten & Matt’s day had it all. From lots of rain & storms to a blackout, a bridesmaid getting stung by wasps, last minute ceremony location change and to the rain finally clearing in time for photos. They both took it all in and didn’t let any of it bother them and honestly their wedding day turned out just perfect.

They were married at a stunning winery in The Hunter Valley, RidgeView. Which also coincidently, is the same venue my Husband and I choose to be our wedding venue. The grounds are stunning, the wine is fantastic and the service is next level, so I was thrilled when Kirsten & Matt asked me to photograph their wedding day at Ridgeview.

Due to the rain on the day we had to move their ceremony indoors to the Cellar Door, which made for a very intimate ceremony. Then thankfully the rain stopped and we were able to venture out and around the grounds to take their portraits before heading back into the restaurant for the reception.

Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your wedding day. I had the most amazing time and I can’t wait to return to RidgeView for another wedding soon.
